Portrait Parties!

I am happy to annouce that portrait Parties are back! I offered these last Spring but became too busy to keep them going. I have made promised to offer a party a month (Feb I will book 3 due to slow schedule) so once March has a party booked... It is full. What are they you ask???
1 person Hosts a Portrait Party and invites five or more of thier family and friends. I bring my equipment to their home and we have a 20-30 minute private studio session per family in a familiar setting. The children are in an Atmosphere where they are comfortable around family and friends. they can see other children getting their portraits taken so they will feel less stressed. Family portraits as well as animal portraits are available.

Portrait Parties details:
· No session fee!
· 20-30 minute session per child.
· One background and 1-2 outfits per family.
· In about 5 days you will recieve your proofs in an online gallery.
· No re-shoots are available but there is no obligation to purcahse prints
· There are no high pressure sales tactics – All sales are made only if you like your proofs. No money is taken the day of the party
· Guests can relax and have fun – there are no lines and no hassles.
· The host receives a rewards credit equivalent of up to 20% of the party’s print sales to be used towards their own portraits taken during the party.

It's that easy!
Again 1 per month with the exception of Feb. There are 2 already booked and I will accept 1 more.

Just a reminder

January is coming to a close. Seems like just a few days ago it was Christmas. Santa was good to us this year as he is every year but it is time for our Spring cleaning. We will be closed the 14th thru 21st of Feb. For Vacation. And again June 25th thru July 20th. If you have events in that time frame please call me. I know some wonderful photographers in the area who I can recommend. I also am accepting 2 more weddings this summer and then I will be done with weddings until October. So if you are thinking of booking for a wedding, I will only be taking on 2 more beautiful brides. I am off to enjoy the beautiful weather outside. It is 50 degrees out there! YEAH! I love spring! :)

I'm Still alive!

Yes-I am still alive! I bet you thought I forgot about my blog and the whole 365 days a year post thing. Wellt hat part I did but I didn't forget about my blog. We havebeen doing some remodeling and I haven't had power to post! LOL -30 outside and no power.... The studio is undergoing somechanges during this slower time of the year. We hope to be ready by Wednesday as Valentine's Mini sessions are coming up fast. 2 slots left. We are also getting ready for those fun Easter sessions. Yes, We will have live bunnies again this year. Check back for more times. We will be doing a day of on Location Mini sessions........ Check back for more details and for the location. Off to finish cleaning. :)

Mini Sessions almost full!

I have 8 slots left for the mini sessions. If you are interested please get a hold of me as once they are gone they are gone! Someone asked if they could make a mini session a full session and use all of the Valentine options and that is fine but they cannot be booked the same days that the mini sessions run and a full sitting fee will apply. Can't wait to see all the little love bugs and angels we will have!
I do have to say...This is my favorite Holiday besides Thanksgiving!

Valentine's Mini Sessions!

Yep-It's time for our annual Valentine's Mini sessions.
Last year these were a HUGE hit and after 9 emails already asking when they will be planned I have my schedule ready! Each mini session has a theme. Such as Love or Cupid, Hearts or Angels. Something related to Valentines Day. Each session will be totally different from the next. They run approx. 30 minutes and you will then be presented with a minimum of 15 proofs in a private online gallery. Please email me for Pricing Information and availability as I have marked the days as filled on the Calender already. They will fill up fast and I am only allowing 20 slots over a 4 day period. Thursday Jan 24th thru Sunday Jan 27th 2008. Please email me with any questions or to book your session.

Custom Pettiskirts available!

I have added a section on the site for custom pettiskirts. These skirts are from the Same manufacturer of Name Brand Skirts for 1/2 the price. They can be found under Pettiskirts and it is there I will keep a log of what I have instock. If you would like me to order something special for you just let me know. I place orders about every 2 weeks so I constantly have some new colors and sizes arriving weekly. If you don't see what you want email me. I may have it and not had a chance to upload to the site yet.

I'm Back

Well my New New computer is up and running anyway....
Now my hard drive is another story. Completely gone.
make note to self.... BACKUP DAILY!!!!!!
YEP- All my pictures, documents, files, programs and money info is GONE. I have originals of all sessions but the past 6 sessions the proofs had not been nacked up due to the holidays and being gone so much. No excuse! I know! So bear with me if you are wanting a reply to an email or your proofs. I have about 300 emails to surf thru and reply as well as 6 sessions to re-edit! ugh! Coffee here I come! LOL!

UUGGHH!

My 1 month old computer has bit the dust... Yep Already! I am not too happy and demanded a brand new one NOW. I Lost everything. I have backups of most of the items except a few session proofs and all my actions and all my .... LOL! So now I am back to square one with 6 sessions. Thank goodness for backups of originals. So if you try to email me this week and I don't get right back to you--That's why. Sorry!

What a Day!

Whew! It was a long day! Started out as a typical Sunday. I slept in till 8 a.m YEAH! Usually at 6 a.m. I hear this ''mom....mom.....mom....can I have chocolate milk in a sippy cup heated up in the microwave 'till it beeps then shake it?" And if you shake it before you put it in the microwave she will tell you "no-shake it after it beeps" Can you say spoiled???
So she let me sleep in today. Which was good because I needed it! 3 Sessions today. Baby C didn't want mom to put him down for nothing. I have never seen a 4 week old like that before. He was such a doll. Then Big Girl "A" was in for her 1 year Birthday. Wasn't too sure about me and kept her distance.

Isn't she precious! Just a ham! then we had another Big Boy "A" and we tried a few new things with him. Once I get to photoshop tonight I will be for sure posting one of them. Lets hope they turn out!!!

O.K. I need to be Post Processing to I need to get off here. More pictures tomorrow...

Saturdays!

Who doesn't love Saturdays?

Spent the day lounging with the kids. My 1 pm session cancelled as the little one has an ear infection! Uck! So the girls had a few friends over and we just lounged all day. Well I did some cleaning. And they Lounged all day!

We played the Best Game ever... Littlest Pet shop Monopoly that Grandma bought them (I love my In-Laws) then we found Moon Sand. That stuff is neat. Have you ever tried it? Kinda cool. Finished up Proofing a session from yesterday tonight and If I get time tomorrow I will post a sneak peak so keep checking. I have 3 sessions tomorrow and as soon as I get them loaded and backed up I will try to post. Remember I am trying to do the 365 posts this year. Which for me will turn into 305 posts this year. I guess we will see.

Friday!! The sweetest words!

I am so glad it is Friday. What a week. I thought after christmas things slowed down! :o) I have had 3 sessions in the last 4 days. For a totalof 13 people. Needless to say I am ready for friday! Why?? i don't know as I have a session Tomorrow and another Sunday. I guess Monday won't be such a bad thing as I have it off! Yeah! Isn't this guy a cutie! And Such a Ham to work with!

So I will try again this year to do the whole '1shot everyday for a year" thing. tried it last year and lost half way thru! Whoops. So we will try again. I may not post a picture everyday but I will try! Wish me luck!
